World Development Bank has started its service in Chitwan district. The Bank has started its service opening the branch at Lions Chowk in Narayanghat of the district.
The bank, which has its central office in Pokhara, has the sum of Rs 660 million authorized capital, Rs 240 million of issued capital and Rs 145 million paid up capital at present. The bank gained the sum of Rs 7 million net profits in the last fiscal year, said Chief executive Officer Samir Shekhar Bajracharya during the inaugural programme.
The bank said it would give priorities to give facilities to customers from rural belt and provide 365-day service, Evening service, ATM service, locker facility including others. There are around five dozens bank in Chitwan at present.
